Sarah Merton is a Welsh artist with a keen interest in the body as a site of ongoing political debate. A Sociology graduate and Librarian, her eclectic output reflects a lifelong interest in representing working class and women’s struggle, heavily influenced by Riot Grrrl zine culture. She ensures that art and activism remain intertwined through her subject matter, wherein areas of focus include advocacy for improved endometriosis services and eating disorder treatment.
