Heb fedru teithio a symud rhyw lawer dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf, mae’r rhan fwyaf ohonom wedi treulio llawer o amser yn ein milltir sgwâr. Ond mae cynefin fel cysyniad yn orwel eang, ac yn unigryw i bob un ohonon ni. Mae’r neges uchod gan y golygydd yn ein tywys drwy res o gwestiynau, gan estyn gwahoddiad i ni ddod ar siwrne drwy safbwyntiau amrywiol cyfranwyr y rhifyn: artistiaid, haneswyr, archeolegwyr a chyfansoddwyr sydd wedi eu hysbrydoli gan wrthrychau yng nghasgliad Amgueddfa Cymru.

Welcome to the 5th issue of our online magazine Cynfas, this time focused on the theme ‘Cynefin/Habitat’, guest-edited by artist and poet Manon Awst.

Since we've not been able to travel or move around much over the past year, most of us have spent much of our time on home turf. But ‘cynefin’ as a concept is a wide horizon, unique to each one of us. The message above from the editor takes us through a series of questions, inviting us on a journey through the various perspectives of the contributors: artists, historians, archaeologists and composers who have been inspired by objects from the collection of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales.
