Cup and saucer, earthenware with clear glaze, crackled in places, saucer with low foot ring and cushion-moulded profile, the cup with concave base, squat form with rounded sides and flaring lip, simple lop handle with slight angle; decorated at the saucer well and exterior cup with a hand-painted pattern of parallel black lines with looping pink and black ribbon, the interior cup and saucer well with an overglaze (?lithographically) printed group of flowers in black with stippling effect, overpainted with matt pink wash, bordered by two hand painted parallel lines with regularly spaced, diagonal double dashes.
