Grenada, Gaudix. Andalucia, Spain
Written on the back of this work is: “I was driving in Andalucia, Spain in the fall of 2005. I had started to experiment with different formats in my work at the time, and was looking for something different that was not yet coming. This woman stood there in the rain waiting for something. Somehow everything around her was waiting for something. I am very slow in editing and selecting the few images of mine that go public. Most end up under my bed and so did this one. I brought it out now, because of the square format. The new encounter was like a deja-vu, or a pleasant reminder.” — Nikos Economopoulos
