Tray

Gaming tray, tin-plate, oval form with curving sides and flat pierced rim, covered all over with a black japan, decorated with to the well a pattern of gilt diagonal lines and hearts against which is reserved to the centre of the well an eight-lobed panel covered with a pink enamel ground and painted with an urn in white, stylized flowers in coloured enamels around the sides of the well, the piercework on the rim edged in gilt which has now mostly worn off.
