Full title: Palm Springs. A retreat for the famous and wealthy. Right on the San Andreas Fault. Among the two million people who visit each year to soak up the sun are college students at ‘Spring Break’. A favourite pastime is ‘cruising’ - driving up and down the main street or showing off on the sidewalk.
