Taurus the Bull

Figure of a bull, creamware body with yellowish glaze, modelled in a stylised manner and standing on four squat legs, with raised tail and lowered head; the body of the figure is covered transfer-printed decoration in the 'Zodiac' pattern, comprising lithograph prints of zodiac signs and symbols in pink, yellow, dark brown, and grey, and painted in dark brown enamel, the details of the bull's head and tail painted in dark brown enamel. In a glazed wood display case.
