Roots and Rivets: Responses to Nature and Industry brings together works developed in response to two source paintings: Polluted Pool at Maindee by Jack Crabtree and Steelworks, Ebbw Vale by Nan Youngman. One depicts a compromised natural landscape, the other an industrial site of production and labour. This exhibition explores how artists translate these contrasting environments into new forms, creating a dialogue between growth and manufacture, fragility and force.
