Dish, buff-coloured earthenware, broad shallow form with small inset and slightly undercut base, black reduction-fired surface, concentric turned lines over the whole surface, strongly pronounced on the underside, the buff body revealed under the base, in a single line round the rim and as incised outlines of abstract branching motifs running round below the rim, these motifs painted in green slip.
