MISTRY, Dhruva
© Dhruva Mistry, CBE RA/Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales
Indian sculptor, Dhruva Mistry, was commissioned to complete the sculpture scheme adorning the external walls of Amgueddfa Cymru in Cardiff. This winged creature - part human and part animal - brings together globally diverse ancient and modern influences as it symbolically protects culture and art in Wales.
