GB. WALES. Tenby. General. Mannequin in traditional Welsh costume. The march towards tourism is symbolised by the arificial Welsh mannequin wearing the Welsh traditional costume designed by an English woman Lady Llanover in the 19th century. She drew on English fashions and a romantic imagination to create a national costume that had never existed in this form. 1989
