Nymølle

We’re working on releasing this image.

Plant pot, earthenware with grey-blue tint and clear glaze, twelve-sided vessel with straight sides, flattened rim, and inset base; the exterior transfer printed in black with the design 'Susanne i Badet' in a distinctive, graphic style, the scene centres on the nude figure of the bathing Susanne, surrounded by four repeated male figures lying on the ground, watching her while shielded by bushes, the figures are against a background of stylised trees with birds, to the reverse is a facsimile of the designer's signature.
