Paperweight, gold glass encased in thick clear glass, egg-shaped with flat base and with one polished, flattened oval plane at the front face and two on the reverse; the exterior has been cut in long vertical lines or facets and sand-blasted to an give a soft, opaque finish, pontil mark on base.
