Plate, earthenware, white body with cream coloured glaze, inset base with two shallow ridges inside the foot, cushion-moulded profile and plain rim; painted around the border, by hand and under the glaze, with a pattern of three large, stylised feathers or leaves in dark green and taupe, between which are curved horizontal lines with small ovals above and beneath.
