Pot

Coper, Hans (Potter)
We’re working on releasing this image.

Cup form, stoneware, standing on a slightly tapering cylindrical drum base with a deep kick and protruding central boss, a cylindrical stem set into the top of this and extending inside the ovoid bowl to form a stem-holder, the bowl with a squared-off rim, the whole coated in off-white slip with a band of blistered dark slip round the rim patchily covered with a thin white slip.
