Coffee or tea cup and saucer, white earthenware with 'Creation' glaze, which is blue-grey in colour with uneven brown speckles, the cup is a cylindrical shape with inset base, loop handle and out-turned rim, the saucer has an inset base, gently curving sides and distinct, raised well; the cup is decorated around the body with the 'Autumn' pattern comprising a lithographic pattern of poppies in yellow, red and orange semi-matt glazes with stalks and seed pods in dark brown, the rim of the saucer and cup are embellished with a painted band of iron oxide that has flown into the surrounding clear glaze, giving an uneven, textured finish.
