Group of ten vessel forms, raku-fired earthenware, five of them comprising two elements, each bearing the text of the one of the Ten Commandments from the King James Bible, the size of each vessel determined by the length of the text.

Born in Yorkshire, John Selway has lived in Wales for 65 years, where he has taught at Newport and Carmarthen colleges. One of the countrys finest painters, he is currently working on Another Eden, a series of responses to the poetry of Dylan Thomas. He lives in Abertillary.
