Centrepiece, fine silver, in the form of a parallelogram, embossed and chased to form a series of waved convex and concave ripples, flat-chased along one edge with a series of diminishing wave motifs.

USA. CALIFORNIA. Parkfield route 48. James Dean died in a car crash. It is strange that, Americans, who seem so expert in exploiting anything for monetary gain seem to have missed out on this event. The monument on the spot he died was actually put up by the Japanese. 1991.
