From here we can see right across the valley. Rows of terraced houses, railway tracks, and industrial buildings snake along the bottom, following the gentle curve of the mountain. This photograph was taken by David Hurn in 1971. David Hurn is one of the most famous documentary photographers in Britain today. He spent a lot of his career documenting everyday life in Wales.
