Wheel-thrown pot, globular shape, inverted mouth, turned decoration of closely adjacent, regularly spaced concentric rings. Decorated with terra sigillata slip giving hazy tortoiseshell effect, deep brown on underside, fading on body to mid brown with splashes of orange and orange mottling especially around shoulder. Gilded neck and mouth, unglazed interior, polished exterior.
