Mug, slip cast earthenware, can-shaped cylindrical body with plain loop handle; transfer printed in black with a wrap-around image commemorating the Festival of Britain, 1951, the design including an image of the Crystal Palace of 1851 and Powell & Moya's Skylon building, the upper section with a blue ground and the lower section with a red ground.
