Group of 4 Cups and Saucers
Rie, Lucie
These delicate, stylish coffee cups were made by Lucie Rie, one of the greatest twentieth-century studio potters. She escaped Nazi-occupied Vienna in 1938 and settled in London, where she earned success with her refined modernist style of ceramics. These are from the Anita Besson collection, belonging to the Derek Williams Trust.
