Cabaret cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a moulded pedestal foot, curved sides with flared, upright collar; handle formed by a winged monopodic cherub; saucer standing on a prominent cylindrical foot with narrow grooves, curved spreading sides slightly flared at lip; cup painted with a cupid holding a sword and shield, and wearing a helmet; saucer painted with two cupids or cherubs, one on a cloud, and the other holding a basket of flowers; gilt continuous scrolling border inside cup and saucer lip; gilding to handle, and gilt bands to foot and collar lip.
