Vase, pale blue glass, tall form with narrow flat base, bulbous lower body tapering gently to a plain, closed rim, oval in cross-section; the majority of the lower portion of the vase has been finely sand-blasted or etched to create an opaque, light blue surface, the majority of the upper part has been left clear, these contrasting areas are separated by a broad cut line looping from the back rim, diagonally across the body and finishing at the back of the rim.
