Jug

Slip cast earthenware jug, globular form, cylindrical neck, loop handle joined at rim and just below widest part of body. Stylised carved decoration on body of jug, of a five petalled flower on each side amongst curving fleshy foliage, band of strokes under rim. Interior glazed pale lemon, exterior glazed mustard yellow, colour deeper in incisions, very light around inscions and rim. Foot ring unglazed.
