Pot, red earthenware, globular form standing on narrow foot with footring, gently rounded closed form with ribbing marks at shoulder, short upright neck with sharp angular profile, simple closed rim; body covered in a green glaze with freeform, handpainted bronze lustre decoration in an abstract, calligraphic style around shoulder, upper face of neck and rim are lustred, foot ring wiped clean of glaze.
