Dish, pale-orange buff stoneware, some grit inclusions visible, circular inset base with no foot ring, open form with slight ogee profile as the body changes orientation to a closed shape approximately 2.5cm beneath the rim, plain rim; covered in light buff slip with sgraffito through to the underlying dark brown slip, to the exterior walls these are arranged in groups of diagonal, broadly parallel lines, to the interior is an abstract depiction of a horse and rider.
