Female Nude
JOHN, Gwen
For her first ten years in Paris Gwen John meagrely supported herself by working as an artist’s model. This life study of a fellow female model was probably drawn at the Acadèmie Colarossi in Montparnasse, which John attended. The models would have changed positions every half hour.
