Coffee cup and saucer, white earthenware body with a clear glaze, 'Cylinder' shape, the cup with a cylindrical body, the top of the handle is square and level with the rim, gently curving downards and attached to the lower third of the body, plain rim, the saucer with foot ring and and sharply upturned sides; the body of the cup transfer-printed with the 'Magic Garden' pattern in black, blue, turquoise and green under the glaze with a freeform pattern of stylised, fantastical plants, insects and birds against a starry sky.
