Transfiguration - As Above So Below
Sculptural form, glazed porcelain, composed of a large, anatomically correct heart cast from that of a cow, with a complex arrangement of branches rising from the aorta and superior vena cava, symbolising veins, arteries and flames, standing on four short, spiny legs; the entire form is covered in vibrant, flowing glaze, primarily in reds, oranges and yellow on the heart and legs, with areas of white paper porcelain, the branches are primarily yellow.
