We're thrilled to announce our participation in Gŵyl Crefft Cymru // Craft Festival Wales, happening in Cardigan from September 6 - 8. Join us on a captivating craft trail throughout the town, featuring the works of six talented makers from across Wales: Ella Bua-In, Ffion Evans, Hannah Walters, Lewis Prosser, Rosa Harradine, and Rosie Lake.
These unique artworks are the result of OM's collaboration with Amgueddfa Cymru, the National Library of Wales, and the Arts Council of Wales, as part of the exciting initiative known as the national contemporary art gallery of Wales. The initiative aims to enhance access to and awareness of the national collections of contemporary art, generously supported by the Welsh Government.
To kickstart our journey, Amgueddfa Cymru graciously invited OM and the six commissioned makers to explore their contemporary collections for inspiration. It was a fantastic day, providing much to ponder. We can’t wait to share the outcomes with you!
